The Production Centre, Manchester

Situated on the 4th floor of the ABC building, the 3,000 square foot space has been carefully designed to meet the high-grade technical specification needed by Gravity Media to service their broadcast clients, as well as a new base for their dedicated local equipment rental team.

This new facility allows the team to collaborate directly with its London Production Centre, enabling completely decentralised remote production workflows.

There is a large production office, collaboration, and meeting area. The ABC Buildings also offers a flexible workspace, café / bar, outdoor terrace, cinema and other communal areas.

At our Production Centre in Manchester, there is a dedicated audio control room and two multi-suite, three-tier production galleries designed with the flexibility to integrate next generation cloud-based, GPU-powered workflows including the likes of MAVIS and GVAMPP.

The space boasts three off-tube commentary booths, two Avid Media Composer edit suites connected to the edit core for a full suite of edit services.

Additional edit capacity can be provided on additional edit seats in the production office.

The facility is connected directly to our Production Centre in London, via our UK network with access to all our London based facilities and our external connectivity partners.

Our fibre partners include, HD Facility Lines to BT Tower, global connectivity via the EBU FiNE network and direct connectivity to NEP Connect AnyLive, Globecast and CenturyLink VyVx.

We can also offer bespoke solutions via LiveU, Tier 1 Internet and our own UK network to our core London PoPs and via our NetInsight Nimbra solution, for both linear and digital distribution.

We also are equipped to handle live streaming and VOD deliveries direct to any CDN/OVP partners using both Signiant and Aspera file acceleration technology.
