Capital FM’s Summertime Ball returned to London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday 8^th June, where all the usual suspects from the world of pop lined up for one of the biggest music events of the summer.

HyperActive has supplied four Sony HDC-2500 channels, three Canon HJ22 HD lenses, and a further Canon HJ14 super-wide-angle lens to Neon Broadcast in support of its services to Sky News. Neon specialises in providing location facilities to television production companies and broadcasters – both terrestrial and satellite – throughout the UK and overseas.

The 2019 Cricket World Cup is now well under way, having kicked off on Thursday 30 May with England beating South Africa by 104 runs. 

Gangland crime thriller The Corrupted arrived in UK cinemas on Friday 10th May. 

There was something new and exciting and this weekend across the BBC. No – not just the second series of Killing Eve but the start of the 2019 Women’s World Cup – a ground-breaking production from Input Media which commenced on Friday on BBC1.

Monday 13 May saw Raw return to London’s O2 Arena as part of WWE’s action-packed live UK tour.

It has been an eventful weekend for Gravity Media. Our sister company Gearhouse Broadcast was busy in Madrid working with UEFA on the Champions League Final, and for those not interested in football, we had a HyperActive team helping out at the British Soap Awards on ITV.

Two incredible semi-final comebacks have set up an all-English Champions League Final tomorrow, as Spurs take on Liverpool at the Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid. Gearhouse Broadcast will be there on the night too, with UEFA’s broadcast operations being built around our state-of-the-art new Grass Valley IP System.

The second season of critically acclaimed psychological thriller Clique aired on BBC Three in November and December last year. Created by Skins writer Jess Brittain, Clique explores the power of friendship between smart, complicated and ambitious young students at Edinburgh University.
