Gravity Media Belgium has successfully obtained its first ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, officially awarded by the certification body Brand Compliance. Confirming that information security is structurally and sustainably embedded within Gravity Media Belgium.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the leading global standard for information security management. The standard requires a systematic approach to protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information.

This is particularly relevant given the type of data Gravity Media Belgium handles, including client and contact information, operational and project-related data, content and production data, contractual information, and other confidential business information from clients and partners. With this certification, Gravity Media Belgium, demonstrates that these types of data are carefully protected against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

A Company-Wide Effort

The certification is the result of a process spanning over one year, involving the entire organisation. During the implementation phase, risks related to data processing and information flows were mapped, security measures were strengthened, and processes were aligned with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2022. In addition to technical measures, such as access controls and system security, emphasis was placed on clear governance, documented procedures, and high security awareness among employees who work with sensitive information daily.

The certification process consisted of two formal audit stages. The Stage 1 audit assessed the information security management system’s design, completeness, and maturity. This was then followed by Stage 2 of the audit, where over a total duration of ten days, the system’s practical operation was thoroughly tested.

Trust and Continuity

By achieving the ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, Gravity Media Belgium strengthens the trust of clients, partners, and other key stakeholders. Underscoring Gravity Media’s careful handling of entrusted data confirms that information security is an integral part of daily operations. Furthermore, it enhances Gravity Media’s ability to participate in tenders requiring the ISO certification plus sustainably expand with existing collaborations.

Gravity Media Belgium thanks all their employees for their dedication, engagement, and transparency throughout the audit process. The awarding of the certificate in December 2025 marks an important milestone and provides a solid foundation for the continuous improvement of information security in the future.
