‘I visited my university, Solent University, after being invited by the BA Sports Journalism course leader Will Cope. I graduated from this course in 2018, and also graduated from the MA Sports Broadcast course in 2019. The purpose of the “Meet the Grads” program is for Solent Alumni to come in and talk to first years on the course, about the industry, our jobs and journeys. For me it was important to participate (in the program) because I remember when I was a first year; it was eye-opening and helpful to hear about the industry…and also the different journeys of former students. (I want students) to understand there’s numerous paths that lead to the right job for you.'
