Services range from supplying equipment and engineers, to providing full host broadcast solutions complete with technical support and operational crew. Equipment rental packages tend to include cameras and lenses and video editing systems, whereas our host broadcast services can accommodate the full live coverage of each day’s play, with content distributed worldwide – both to traditional broadcasters and online streaming platforms.
Host broadcast setups are invariably centred on one of our custom-built sports flypacks – highly portable, self-contained live-production systems that can be rigged and derigged quickly and easily, allowing more time to get on with the business of broadcasting. These flexible units support live links from onsite studios, as well as roving reporting from locations across the golf course when the action is in full swing.
Moreover, Gravity Media flypacks can be pre-rigged to the client’s precise specification before they leave our warehouses, ensuring that when they arrive onsite they can be operational within a day. They are powerful production platforms that are ideal for all sports applications where space within the TV compound is limited, and setup needs to be swift. The flexibility to pre-rig is a big advantage too, as we can configure each unit for the job in hand, meaning every piece of equipment we carry has a specific and an important role to play at the event.
