Gearhouse Broadcast, a leading supplier of specialist broadcast solutions, has installed unilateral facilities within the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles in Paris for several leading rights holders including ITV which shares the UK’s rights for the tournament.

UEFA has selected Gearhouse Broadcast to deliver their Technical Operations Centres (TOCs) and Cable Interconnection Room (CIR) as part of their comprehensive installation at each of the ten EURO 2016 venues located in Paris, Saint-Denis, Bordeaux, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nice, Saint-Etienne and Toulouse. 

Taylor Swift’s recent Sydney show was the largest live OB concert record in Gearhouse Broadcast Australia’s history. This master class in live OB production integrated no less than 41 cameras, a SpiderCam, a Helicopter, four Techno cranes and two HD supertrucks.

Broadcast services specialist Gearhouse Broadcast was honoured for its technical innovation at last night’s TVBAwards. In a ceremony held in central London, Gearhouse was presented with the achievement in systems integration award for its design, construction and integration of its OBPod solution.

In the first demonstration of its kind, Gearhouse Broadcast has announced today that it will upgrade its live remote production demonstration from HD to 4K resolution. The solution uses EVS’ IT-based production switcher DYVI and will be on display on the Gearhouse booth at IBC2015.
