Stef Lambrechts

Stef Lambrechts has been Technical Director at Gravity Media Belgium since 2020. He started his career at former EMG Belgium in 1994 as a Video Engineer. In the following years, he worked as an Engineer in Charge on OB trucks and international events, always striving to work with the latest technology while keeping a strong focus on R&D.

As Technical Support Manager, he led the design of innovative and future-proof solutions and built a technical team of multidisciplinary engineers, dedicated to delivering the best solutions for each client and project.

In 2017, he joined the diPloy steering committee to help develop the group’s standard IP broadcast platform – the scalable core IP infrastructure now used across OB vans, fly packs, MCRs, remote operation centres and playout facilities.

In his current role as Technical Director for Gravity Media, Stef focuses on innovative workflows and strategic technology investments across all technical departments. He strongly believes in efficiency, standardization, and collaboration between all teams at Gravity Media, both in Belgium and globally, to serve clients in the best possible way.
