Avid Interplay Media Indexer
The Interplay Indexer takes the indexing task away from the attached editing clients for load-balancing purposes. All the attached clients connect to the media indexer which scans the Unity or ISIS workspaces independently.
For larger work-group setups additional Media Indexers are required.
