We’ve been involved in every conceivable format and genre over the years, and have fine-tuned our skills to support concerts, festivals, galas and awards ceremonies across pop, rock, Latin, blues and classical… We even do musical reality TV shows, such as The Voice and The X Factor. So, from the BBC Proms to the Byron Bay Bluesfest, we’re always in the mix when it comes to the choice of professional support.
As with other forms of live and near-live event coverage, clients come to us for solutions right along the broadcast spectrum, from specialist equipment hire, thorough comprehensive outside broadcast services, to event communications, editing and streaming. Some require all of our might, whereas others choose how best to deploy our experience, equipment and facilities to suit their individual production needs.
Although 2020 was a tough year for live music, we hope to have played a role in enabling events to continue, including live-streaming a performance by Scott Ellaway and a ten-piece orchestra into schools throughout the State of California. We’ll continue to do that as we emerge from COVID-19, and we will herald the return of live audiences once more by supporting large-scale gigs and events both indoors and outdoors as soon as restrictions have been lifted.
The hitlist of some of the most recent music activity includes broadcast services and streaming support for the Australian Recording Industry Association Music Awards, sending our OB supertruck Columbus to cover the 100th anniversary gala for the LA Philharmonic, and supporting BBC Music at the world-famous Glastonbury festival the last time the event was held in 2019. Slightly more unusual projects have seen us enable German composer Ben Böhmer to perform an exclusive live show from a hot air balloon above Turkey, and welcome QChambermusic to our warehouse Los Angeles, where classical French guitarist Judicaël Perroy delivered a virtuoso live performance.
